I heard through the grapevine that a friend of mine was having a show at his house, featuring Tim Oakley, Travis Vick (pictures of Travis Vick courtesy of our friends at Fathom Photography), and a new band just starting up known as Resonner from here in the Central Valley. Obviously, we had to go. There were tons of people there and it was nice to see some old friends again, and even make a few new ones. Overall we had a great time eating burgers and listening to good music.
We are excited to announce an upcoming/ongoing collaboration with film-maker, photographer, and comedian Olan Rogers.
More information to come as the project unfolds.
We had a lot of fun making this video and hope to make more, spotlighting artists from around the central valley. Tim is an indie filmmaker and also currently working on a book that he hopes to release sometime in the near future. This video basically just documents a few moments of our time with Tim and some friends. We hope you enjoy.
As many of you may know, we deleted our myspace. We just wanted to let you know our reasoning behind this decision. We felt that our myspace had become nothing more than a spam bucket and most of our myspace friends were just looking to send us as many messages per second (mps) they could send. So, in gentle retaliation, we decided to delete the page and start over. Since then, we have started a new myspace page with the same url (myspace.com/GoliathLabel) and chosen to do our best to only add real people as friends or organizations we support, for example, Invisible Children. We are actually very excited for this fresh start and happy to get the page going again. Also, our new video “An Interview w/ Tim Oakley” will be up on the blog, tomorrow (5/13), so be sure to keep checking back and watch it!
Let me start off by saying sorry for not updating the blog more. If you are following us on Facebook or Twitter you know that we are working on putting up another new shirt by Goliath Label on the site and also updating the online store a bit. We are also very happy to announce that we are almost done with our new video featuring indie filmmaker Tim Oakley. In the mean time, I will be doing my best to keep the site as up-to-date as possible to keep you guys in the loop! Goliath Loves You.
